College Scholarship Fund
Since 1994 Hands on DC volunteers have raised more than $500,000 for college scholarships. These funds have benefited more than two dozen deserving local students, who use the money to help pay for the education they need to create brighter futures for themselves.
Many of the students who have received these scholarships have been a part of College Bound, a community-based mentoring and tutoring program (www.collegebound.org). The students profiled below provide examples of the type of young people who are "College Bound" in part because of the work of Hands on DC volunteers.
