Meet the Students
Ashley Ellis
Ashley Ellis is a senior at the School Without Walls where she is an academic scholar. During her tenure at SWW she has participated on a student exchange by attending school in Ghana for three weeks with other members of her class, started a human rights club for students concerned about the environment and began a recycling program on the newly renovated campus of her school. Ashley is a model College Bound student. Her options and opportunities are limitless. She has been in the College Bound program for the past 4 years and has participated in all of College Bound’s major programs from the Fall and Spring College Tours to the Mistress of Ceremonies for the End of Year Celebration. Recently, she was selected to participate in the Multicultural Visitation Program at Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH where she was able to visit the campus, shadow student leaders and receive pertinent admissions information. She is currently applying to Bryn Mawr College, Oberlin College, Sarah Lawrence College, Spelman College and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She is currently a student at our Gonzaga Academic Mentoring Site.
